Since 1970 trapping muskrats, Ed has always pursued a higher understanding of the furbearer. Taking a close look in the fur bearers reaction to different odors, certain habits in their movements, and learning how to properly care for their pelt once caught. Ed has taken private instruction from Richard Thurman and Craig O'Gorman on canine trapping.  

Ed Schneider's personal best on raccoons was 834 in a single season and in another year he has taken 334 coyotes in a single season by himself and 440 coyotes with trapping partner Richard Johnson.

Ed traps from the Dakotas to New Mexico each year. He has trapped now in nine states including Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Wyoming, Standing Rock in the Dakotas, Kansas, and New Mexico. 

Ed gives private instruction all across the United States in the off season

Since 2017 we have been professional trappers and lure makers exclusively. This allows us to participate in 16-18 conventions per year. 

We have held a trapping school called Kansas Canine Mastery since 2018 giving trappers a fellowship opportunity as well as a economical opportunity to gain trapping skills. 

To this day Ed still enjoys trapping new land and gaining new experiences in different parts of the country.
